_R.I.P. 2011  Joined the Royal Canadian Navy at the age of 18. Cambridge Bay Ft Chipewyan Saskatoon Winnipeg Kenora Prince George - Passed Away 12 February 2011

 

CLAIRMONT     Helen Bernice

_R.I.P. 2000   Served as a Radio Operator in the Royal Norwegian Air Force during WWII. Worked onboard ships for the Merchant Marines of the Norwegian Navy. Was awarded the Norwegian War Medal Of Participation in recognition of her service during Allied Operations.

CLARKE     Larry

_R.I.P. 2015   Served as a Radio Technician in the Royal Canadian Navy during WWII - Founder, President and CEO of Spar Aerospace Ltd.

COE     Ernest (Ernie)

 R.I.P 2012   RI in Abbotsford BC and Kelowna BC.   Served in the Royal Canadian Navy during the Second World War. Worked as a Radio Operator at various remote locations. Was a Radio Inspector at Kelowna, BC.

COLES      Herbert (Harry)

 R.I.P 2012   Radio Operator in the Merchant Marine during World War Two. Retired from the Department of Transport after 35 years of service.

COOKE     Robert W.

_R.I.P. 1983  Worked as a Radio Operator in the Arctic in 1937. Served as a Tech Tel in the Royal Canadian Air Force Auxiliary from 1950 to 1953. Senior Member of The Institute of Radio Engineers. Studied Radio Physics at the University of Western Ontario and Graduated with Honours.

COOMBS     Francis E.L.

_R.I.P. 1968  He served in the South African (Boer) War from 1899 to 1901. His main occupation after the war was Canadian Press Telegrapher. He was a Telegraph Operator during World War I. He was also a Teacher/Instructor teaching Morse Code, Basic Radio and Signaling.

COURCY     Donald J.

Donald started as a Radioman in the Royal Canadian Navy in 1965. He joined the DOC (Department of Communications) as a Radio Inspector in 1973. He transferred to CRTC in 1980 - To Telesat Canada in 1985. He came back to Radio Regulations and Spectrum Management in 1997 and retired from Industry Canada in 2011.

LEBLANC     Camille

_R.I.P. 2023    Camille LeBlanc was a member of the Royal Canadian Navy from 1943 to 1946. He was a bilingual coordinator in the Moncton Regional Office of the Department of Communications (DOC). He passed away on May 16, 2023 at the age of 100.
