Reginald Fagan
Fagan, Reginald "Reg"- 79, Halifax, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. Born in St.Mary’s, Newfoundland, he was the son of the late Joseph and Bridget (Yetman) Fagan.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa (Grant); son, Gerard (Janice) Fagan, daughters, Donna (Ken) Joudrey, Elizabeth (Jimmy) Fagan, Margie (Derek) Hamm; Gina (Donald) MacGillivray; 14 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, brothers, Larry and Hugh, sisters, Carmel and Sr. Monica. He was predeceased by four brothers.
Reg began his career as a teacher in St. Mary’s, followed by 35 years with Coast Guard Marine Radio. He was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus, enjoyed woodworking, volunteering with the Red Cross Blood Services and loved playing cards.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the QEII Emergency Dept and the VG Palliative Care Unit.
Donations in memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
