After a fulfilled career, our colleague Jean Couture has decided to retire on September 30th, 2007.
Jean started his career in June 1974 at Communications Canada which became Industry Canada in 1993.
He mostly worked in Spectrum Control (radio interference investigations and inspections) as a Radio Inspector now known as Spectrum Management Officer.
Jean was quite a globetrotter. After a 2 years start at the St-Lambert Monitoring station, he transferred to Chicoutimi for yet another 6 years.
In 1982, we find him in Sept-Iles following a short 2 years transit in the Prairies, in the Saskatoon office. In the mid 80’s he finally settles down in Sherbrooke where is brilliant career will come to an end on September 30th.
